伝統的な技術を活かした、クラッシックだけれど、ちょっとモダンな器。

磁器に土ものの温かさ・味わいを取り入れ、絵付けで様々な表情をつけています。手作り手描きにこだわり、使いこなしていく程に味が出る「用美の器」を求めて作陶しています。

手作りなので若干の個体差がありますが、それも味わいと考えています。
同じ柄でも配置をひとつひとつ違えているのは、自分だけの一点を選んで頂きたいからです。手に馴染む使いやすい形状にもこだわっています。
大切に骨董になるまでご愛用頂ければ嬉しいです。

Classic with a modern twist

I specialize in Sometsuke (blue and white ware) and all of my works are handmade and hand painted. That is why there are slight irregularities in shape and size which are part of their charm. Pattern layout varies by piece and you can find your favorite “one of a kind”.

After starting my career focusing on porcelain, I shifted to earthenware for some time. Porcelain is white and glassy while earthenware is soft and natural. My porcelain incorporates beauty and warmth of earthenware. Based on the traditional technique, I create porcelains that are “classic with a modern twist in design and style”.

I hope you treasure them until they become your antique years later.

Kintsugi

使っている間に器が欠けたり割れたりしてしまった時には、金継ぎにより修理できる場合があります。
破損、欠け、ひびの状態にもよりますが、直すことができますので、どうぞご連絡下さい。
大切に選んだ器を、できる限り永く使っていただければとの思いです。
金継ぎした器には、新たな景色が生まれます。
お客様にとって愛着のある器が蘇り、またいつも通り使っていただけたら嬉しいです。

If porcelain is cracked or broken when treasuring it, we can repair by using a technique called Kintsugi (gold-joining) depending on its condition.
Please let us know in such a case. We hope you can use as long as possible your porcelain which was carefully chosen, and another beauty will be added after Kintsugi.
